T.I. Reportedly Back In The Studio Already

Just days after being released from prison and transferred to a halfway house, T.I. is reportedly is already heading back to the studio. Former Atlantic Records music executive Kevin Liles recently took to his twitter account where he hinted that TIP is making new music. "My right hand went home to visit family & found his way to the studio. He said 'why wait for 2010, get it in now' Love the attitude," the message read. The twitter post was later deleted, so was he talking about T.I.? We may never know.
In related news, T.I. was recently released from prison (on December 22nd) and transferred to a halfway house. "He was released this morning from his place of incarceration in Arkansas," Steve Sadow (TIPs lawyer) said. "As I understand it, he’s on his way back to the Atlanta area. He has to report to a halfway house in Atlanta sometime this evening. And he will then spend somewhere between the next two or three months in a halfway house, ending his Bureau of Prison sentence."

A Bittersweet End To 2009 For Lil Wayne As He Kicks Off His 'Farewell For Now' Tour In Hometown Of New Orleans

Lil Wayne must be going through an emotional roller coaster as 2009 draws to a close.
Being one of the the most successful rappers out right now and head of Young Money Records. Which features two artists in Drake and Nicki Minaj that are as white hot as two rookie emcees could possibly could be are things i'm sure he's quite proud of.
However, the rapper born Dwayne Carter has seen his good fortune stall a bit recently as run-ins with the law have caught up with him.
In February, Wayne will be sentenced to a year in jail for a gun charge in New York. He is also facing drug possession and weapons charges in Arizona. On top of that, his new rock LP 'Rebirth' has leaked months early and the reviews for the record have been lukewarm at best.
None of that mattered last night though (Monday December 28). As the New Orleans native kicked off his 'Farewell For Now' Tour in his hometown. Opening the show with his smash hit "A Milli", Weezy told the crowd "I'm nothing without you"
"I hope Lil Wayne will follow in T.I.'s footsteps," said 32-year-old Jed Wright, who brought his 11-year-old stepson to the show as a Christmas present. "T.I. promised to turn his life around. Lil Wayne can do the same thing."
Nathan Followill Nearly Beat Kanye West for Ruining Taylor Swift's Win

As fellow Nashville, Tennessee native, Nathan is overwhelmed with anger when Kanye invaded the stage to protest Taylor Swift's Best Female Video win at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Kanye West narrowly avoided a beating from Kings of Leon star Nathan Followill at the MTV Video Music Awards in September after he invaded the stage to protest Taylor Swift's Best Female Video win. Followill reveals he was incensed when the rapper ruined his fellow Nashville, Tennessee native's big moment and had to be restrained by his bandmates as he made moves to charge towards the "Stronger" hitmaker.
Bandmate Jared Followill tells Spin magazine, "I think Nathan was gonna try to punch Kanye. We were two rows behind him, and Nathan was flipping him off, saying, 'F**k you'. I was like, 'Dude, if you try to hit him, it's not even gonna be a fight between you and him - it's gonna be our security guards and his security guards.'"
"And it would have made it even worse for Taylor. So we peeled out." Swift later repaid the band for their support by stating their show, which she attended after the VMAs, was the best she saw in 2009.
Nelly Offers $10,000 to Arrest Assailant

Following the burglary in his St. Louis mansion, the rapper offers a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the housebreaker.
Rapper Nelly has offered up a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the assailant who broke into his Missouri home in earlier December. Police were called to the "Dilemma" hitmaker's St. Louis mansion in the early hours of December 11, after a man was spotted "fleeing" from the residence by a female staying at the house.
Sniffer dogs and a helicopter unit patrolled the area around the property but no one was caught. Nelly, who was not present at the time of the incident, reported a number of electronics and other items missing, and he's now appealing to locals for help in identifying the male, thought to be in his 20s or 30s. Anyone with information about the burglary has been urged to contact the police.
To Focus on Movies, Tyra Banks Pulls the Plug on Her Talk Show

Announcing the ending of 'The Tyra Show', the former model reveals that she is looking forward to the launching of her New York-based film production company.
Already having a successful TV show, Tyra Banks is looking forward to inspire women through movies. On Monday, December 28, the former Sports Illustrated model revealed her next project, the launch of New York-based film production company Bankable Studios, when announcing the end of her talk show "The Tyra Show".
On her new project, an industry insider told People that the 36-year-old is aiming to bring "positive images of women to the big screen", and will be "redefining beauty for women in film". The TV personality herself supported the statement in a message posted in her website, "My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are."
The insider further revealed that Banks got the courage to stop her show after mentor Oprah Winfrey announced the end of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" earlier. "With Oprah's big announcement this year, I think that gave Tyra the confidence to get out there and follow her longtime dream of film producing," the source claimed.
Banks revealed she is pulling the plug on "The Tyra Show" through People. "This will be the last season of The Tyra Show," so she told People. "I've been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years." Her show will wrap at the end of its fifth season in spring 2010.
Banks also wrote a message showing her appreciation to fans for the show on her website. "There's a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire burning in my heart," part of her message read. "And I salute you my amazing family of viewers; without you there never would have been a 'Tyra Show.' I really love you all."
Ending her talk show doesn't mean Tyra Banks will stop appearing on small screen. She will be returning for the 14th season of "America's Next Top Model" in February 2010. Her show "True Beauty" will also continue its production.
Tiger Woods Mistress Mess Costs Shareholders Of His Sponsors Like Gatorade & Nike $12 Billion Dollars!

Tiger Woods is not the only one who blew big bucks with his image-busting cheating spree.
His losses are chump change compared with the up to $12 billion that the scandal has cost shareholders of his big-money sponsors like Nike, AT&T and Gatorade, a study revealed Monday.
"Total shareholder losses may exceed several decades' worth of Tiger Woods' personal endorsement income," said study author Victor Stango, a professor at the University of California Davis.
The study compared the stock prices of nine Woods sponsors with competitors and the overall market after the scandal erupted last month.
Investors in the three sports-related companies - video gamemaker Electronic Arts, Gatorade and Nike - fared the worst, experiencing a 4.3% drop in stock value.
On the other hand, Accenture, a global management consulting firm, experienced no measurable ill effects from Woods' fall from grace.
Scott Storch To Handle The Bulk Of Production Duties On Shyne's New Album

Producer Scott Storch is expected to be a major player in the musical comeback of rapper Shyne, who was deported to his native Belize after over nine years of incarceration.
Storch exclusively told AllHipHop.com of his plans to craft a new album for the former Bad Boy.
"Yeah, Shyne's my man. I've been talking to him and I was talking to him all through his prison sentence. He's always remained a loyal person to me," he told AllHipHop.com.
He said that he and Shyne actually befriended each other while Shyne was in jail for a December 1999 shooting that left several people wounded.
"We became friends after he was already in [jail] and I found out he was a fan and he's just a hell of a cool guy," Storch continued. "I'm looking forward to doing, not just one record, but doing a chunk on his album."
To read more on Scott Storch and his current work, including more details on Shyne's album, read the two-part feature on Tuesday December 29 and Wednesday December 30. Storch also discusses his recovery from a cocaine addiction, his relationship to Timbaland, Lil Kim and his plans for a strong comeback, among other matters.

Kanye And Amber Rose Throw On Aprons And Feed The Homeless At L.A Mission

Rapper Kanye West got into the Christmas spirit by making a surprise appearance at the Los Angeles Mission Saturday (Dec. 26). The Grammy winner, alongside longtime girlfriend Amber Rose, joined other volunteers and served lunch to the homeless, who greeted the Chicago native and took pictures. "It's just important [to give back] when you're very blessed," West told TheBoomBox.
West showed up ready to work. He went straight for the kitchen, put on a apron and got on serving duty. "[It's nice] to spread your blessings and take time out, especially during the holidays to appreciate people who never get that appreciation. It makes me feel really good to come out here, [with] my family, and I just thank ya'll [the Los Angeles Mission] for allowing us to be apart of this."
The Los Angeles Mission is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the homeless for more than 70 years. Located in L.A.'s downtown Skid Row district, the organization offers employment, transitional services and rehabilitation to those struggling with substance abuse.
