50 Cent Duet On The Horizon
Susan Boyle's about to go gangster
As the newest artist looking to cash-in on the success of UK singer Susan Boyle, 50 told the British newspaper The Mirror that, "Susan Boyle is hot right now. I got to get her on a track, for real. We'd make a hit. Everyone is talking about her, the lady from Britain's Got Talent. She's got an amazing voice, and together we'd get everyone dancing. I'm always looking to do something new and she's cool, so I'll ask somebody to let her know. I'd love to take her clubbing, show her around my world. She'd have a great time." Not sure if 50 has ever said his songs will get someone dancing. The Mirror is notorious for exaggerating stories so we'll see if this collaboration ever happens. |
50 Cent's career is obviously on the downturn, and at this point he's willing to go do whatever he can to resuscitate it.Kanye's Still A College Dropout

Tyrese Voicemail Leaks
Rushed To Hospital
In the message Tyrese says "I don't wanna freak anybody out but I'm on the way to the hospital. I'm just feeling these sharp pains in my head and it's not a headache." Later in the message he went on to say "it's not like me to leave a message so personal but I feel like all of you guys are like family now." Wow, so much for them being like family. Hopefully Tyrese is okay. Check his twitter for more updates on this developing story. |
In a bizarre twist of events singer/rapper/actor Tyrese allegedly left a voicemail for unknown persons over the weekend complaining of sharp pains in his head. Despite Tyrese sounding person saying in the message that "I don't want this to become anything that's on television or some type of publicity thing, don't tell anyone who may have a website," the 2 minute voicemail message was of course leaked anyway.Art Imitates Life

SALUTING ALLEN IVERSONl AKA A.I. - AN ICON
They say life comes full circle and tonight Allen Iverson's return to where his NBA career began as a starter for the Philadelphia 76ers echoes that sentiment. However A.I.'s circle of life seems to have left many forgetting who he once was after a so so stint with the Nuggets, two failed attempts with the Pistons & Grizzlies and almost every NBA team including the lowly Knicks passing up on him. And with that said I just wanted to be one of the first to remind you that Allen Ezail Iverson aka A.I. aka Bubba Chuck aka The Answer aka Jewelz (his rap moniker) is An Icon to not only sports but to the culture of this Hip Hop generation. From being raised by a single mother in Newport News VA, convicted & spending 4 months in prison at 17 after wrongfully accused of hitting a white girl in the head with a chair during a race riot in a Virginia bowling alley brawl, having his conviction overturned for insufficient evidence with the help of former Georgetown Hoya coach John Thompson, becoming a Georgetown Hoya under coach John Thompson, being caught with a .40 cal in his Mercedes Benz s600 while attending Georgetown, becoming the first overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1996 NBA Draft, signing a $50 million dollar endorsement deal with Reebok as a rookie, breaking Michael Jordan's ankles as a rookie, his high dribble pause killer cross over, referees calling his cross over a carry, creating the most copied signature playground move of all time, creating the corn row and tattoo craze in the NBA, cutting his corn rows only to grow them back, making a rap album under the name Jewelz, shelving that rap album due to media backlash over his use of gay slurs, Jay-Z exposing his fling with Nas' baby mother Carmen on "Super Ugly", marrying his high school sweat heart, kicking his wife out of their Philadelphia mansion, kicking his cousins door down .45 in hand to get his wife back, being a loving father, being a loving teammate, crying at his scholarship press conference, taking an over achieving 76ers team to the 2001 NBA Finals against the Lakers, hitting a 3 on the corner and stepping over Tyronn Lue in game 3 the 2001 NBA Finals, 10 time NBA All Star, 4 time NBA scoring leader, 27 ppg career avg, NBA's 17th overall scorer with 24,020 career points, "practice...we're talking about practice", single handedly being the reason for an NBA dress code, abiding by the NBA dress code, making the arm band an NBA fashion statement, beefing with former coach Larry Brown, crying over former coach Larry Brown on Stephen A. Smith short lived talk show, co-existing with Melo in Denver, not co-existing with anyone in Detroit and Memphis, being purely the best small point guard since Isiah Thomas and the best scoring NBA point guard in the history of the NBA, crying at his 76er return press conference, was The Answer, but now A.I. is simply An Icon. Salute. - ICE

Dirty Hackers
Diddy's Twitter Account Hackede
This has publicity stunt written all over it. Don't be surprised if we see Diddy Verizon commercials soon. |
Over the weekend some dirty computer people tried to hack into Diddy's twitter account according to Combs. There was an alleged fake tweet that went out from his account saying "Go cop your new phone from Verizon Wireless... in Tribeca." Diddy responded with a real tweet that read, "Don't go cop no new phone from nowhere in Tribeca... Someone tried to break in my twitter... lol."Back Together Again
Diddy And The Lox Talk Business
"I got an answer for that, I really think I got an answer," Sheek said about the forthcoming album. "Yo word up, top of the year, Lox album is coming. I would love for it to come then, we're working actually with Puff, with Sean Combs. We working out that. Puff Daddy, we working that out. We working that out and hopefully it goes down. It's gonna be Interscope/Bad Boy/D-Block. Oh yo, slash Ruff Ryders, I'm sorry, I can't leave my boys out. It's like a big thing because we still Interscope. We still Ruff Ryders. It'll be a nice thing." The Lox have not released an official group album since 2000's We Are The Streets. |
Sheek Louch, 1/3rd of the Lox recently confirmed the rumors that the Yonkers crew are officially working to reunite with one time nemesis Diddy and Bad Boy Records. After rocking Hot 93.7's Jingle Jam concert, Sheek spoke to On Air Idiots about the prospective deal.99 Problems
50 Chimes In On Tiger Too
"He just picked the wrong girls I guess," said 50 in an interview with radio personality Tim Westwood. "[Relationships,] that's wrong too. But he might have trust issues. So I mean, if you have trust issues and you see so many people there, like, you develop a comfort with that person. And even though you don't have a relationship with 'em, you still wanna be around a selective party. You can tell he was just never under those types of circumstances, because he didn't know better than to not do that. Like even the apology before we found out what was going on. He's like, 'This is obviously my fault,' before we can figure out what he did." Hopefully for Tiger sake none of the alleged mistresses are having any baby's by him or they will surely be millionaires. |
Tiger Woods news has completely dominated the media since his alleged affairs came to light the day after Thanksgiving. Even 50 Cent is giving his two cents on the situation.Breakin' Off Broadway
Hip Hop Dance Troop Hits Big
The play's dancers won NBC's reality competition show "Superstars of Dance." They will also appear on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance?" in late December. The dance company was assembled in Los Angeles by founder Bradly Rapier and their show is said to boast high energy head spins, hand spins and flips. After Groovaloo's New York run is completed the show will tour the rest of the United States. |
On Tuesday December 8th, the off-Broadway show "Groovaloo" opens a 5-week long engagement at New York's Union Square Theatre. The show marks a return to the birthplace of break dancing.
