Eminem To Censor Lyrics To Avoid Anti-Gay Protests In UK
Controversial rapper Eminem has agreed to refrain from performing homophobic lyrics during an upcoming festival in the United Kingdom next summer.
Organizers of the popular Wireless Festival 2010 were fearful that various gay rights groups, such an OutRage! would picket the concert.
According to UK’s Evening Standard, OutRage! has agreed to refrain from picketing the concert, as long as Eminem does not use lyrics that encourage or incite hatred against gay people.
Eminem agreed to sign up after he was assured there would be no protests at the show, according to spokesman David Allison.
Eminem also reportedly agreed to both parties demands that he censor his lyrics, to avoid confrontation with the gay rights groups in the country.
OutRage! and other similar groups have actively boycotted singers like Beenie Man and Buju Banton, who have had tours of the country interrupted due to protests over their homophobic lyrics.
At press time confirmed performers for the 2010 Wireless Festival include Pink and The Ting Tings.
The event takes place at London's Hyde Park in July of 2010.

Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West got into the holiday spirit over the weekend and made a retreat out to Los Angeles to help and serve lunch to the homeless in California.

According to reports, Yeezy was accompanied by his associate Amber Rose at the Los Angeles Mission.
"It's just important [to give back] when you're very blessed," West said. West showed up ready to work. He went straight for the kitchen, put on a apron and got on serving duty. "[It's nice] to spread your blessings and take time out, especially during the holidays to appreciate people who never get that appreciation. It makes me feel really good to come out here, [with] my family, and I just thank ya'll [the Los Angeles Mission] for allowing us to be apart of this." (The Boom Box)

WTF? DC Cop Pulls Gun in Snowball Fight
Check out this video after the break... during the blizzard a few days ago, a bunch of Washington, DC residents from all races and backgrounds got together via Twitter for a giant snowball fight. Good clean fun in the heart of the nation's capitol They gathered up on opposite sides of 14th street - all grown adults - and got to it as the city shut down during the 24" of snowfall that blanketed the area.
Then, along comes this DT in plain clothes in H2 HUMMER no less... mad because the snowball fight didn't stop for him to pass through. Without warning he jumps out and starts brandishing his GUN and threatens these grown folks to "THROW ONE MORE SNOWBALL." If it was such a big deal why didn't he just flash his strobe lights and move through?
