Amazon Sends Out Lil Wayne’s ‘Rebirth’ Album; Eminem Collab Song Leaks

Lil’ Wayne’s ‘Rebirth’ album isn’t to be released until February 1st but Amazon.com customers who have pre-ordered the album are enjoying it now thanks to a shipping mishap.

Lil’ Wayne’s newest album ‘Rebirth’ started turning up in some 500 mailboxes this week after customer’s pre-ordered the album on Amazon.com. Thanks to a shipping mishap, about 500 Lil’ Wayne fans may be enjoying the new album according to the possible mishap.

Amazon.com sent out roughly 500 copies of the album after customer’s pre-ordered it online though the album isn’t set to be released untill February 1, 2010. A mistake in the shipping department at Amazon is the cause of the accidental leak of the album. According to Billboard.com, the album was set to be released December 21st but Wayne’s distributor, Universal Motown, recalled the album to be pushed back to Feb. 2010. Amazon.com must not have gotten the memo if they shipped out copies before the new release date.

The fans who already have the album may be holding a collectors item because Wayne is reportedly adding new tracks to the album, the reason for the change in the release date. Some songs, such as the Wayne/Eminem collaboration ‘Drop The World’, off the album have already been leaked to the internet.

Rapper Gucci Mane Speaks From Jail; Talks Young Jeezy Heavy Remix Song!

Though Gucci Mane is currently serving a 12 month sentence he is in high spirits and talks about his new album and recording with Young Jeezy from jail.

Gucci Mane, who is currently serving a one year sentence in the Fulton County Jail, tells MTV on Wednesday that he is very excited about the release of his new album and having recorded with Young Jeezy after squashing their beefs!

“We already recorded two songs! One song was the ‘Trap or Die 2′ remix, I jumped on there for him and he did a verse for my song ‘Heavy’ with Shawty Redd on the beat. We just haven’t released it yet,” says Gucci.

Gucci Mane is slated to drop the second album of his ‘The State vs. Radric Davis’ trilogy in 2010.

“I got an album coming out April 2010,” Gucci said. “It’s called The State vs. Radric Davis: The Appeal. Seventeen tracks. It’s already recorded, getting mixed and mastered as we speak. I’m dropping a trilogy with The State vs. Radric Davis. When I get out, I’ll be working on the third part to the trilogy. The final will be called ‘The State vs. Radric Davis: The Verdict.’ That’ll be in stores December of 2010.”

Meanwhile his record company Asylum just released the video for ‘Heavy’ though Jeezy is not on this version!

Rapper T.I. To Be Released Sometime After New Years To Halfway House!

Rapper T.I., who was sentenced to serve one year and one day in prison for felony gun possession, is set to be released to a halfway house in Atlanta some time after New Years.

Sources say that rapper T.I. may be released earlier than his scheduled May 2010 date due to good behavior. Reportedly, T.I. is to be released to a halfway house to finish out the remainder of his sentence sometime in early 2010. Maybe Feb. or March, sources say.

He will be able to leave the halfway house during the day to work at the offices of his Grand Hustle label and will have to report back at a certain time at night. He will serve out the rest of his sentence witch is in May of 2010.

No reports of the exact date of his release has been published at this time.

T.I. began serving out a one year and one day sentence in May 2009 for gun possession after he was caught in a parking lot trying to buy the weapons he was charged for.
