Beyonce's Old Tricks Catch Up
The Chicago Sun-Times says, "All of the issues have been amicably resolved and the case is going to be dismissed," Allen's attorney said. "[Allen is] excited about being able to devote time to posturing his musical career." In other news, Bossip reveals Kelly Rowland wasn't too happy about the lawsuit, saying that, "Rowland blames the legal mess on Beyoncé's father Mathew and his sneaky tactics for lining his daughter's pockets with cash. Apparently, Mathew has a long history of trying to get songwriters to add Beyoncé's name to songs she didn't compose, just so she gets publishing royalties, and now it's coming back to haunt him." This entire situation is a mess, but it's not the first time that someone has brought Beyonce's "songwriting" skills into question, and it might not be the last. |
