Sir Luscious Staying on Jive For Now 06:00AM ET December 8, 2009 Contributor : Nadine Graham A Rocky Williform Company Despite rumors of Mr. Andre Patton, Big Boi of OutKast, taking his first solo project to Def Jam, he has announced that he'll be staying with Jive Records instead. Last summer, he leaked information about his progress in moving to Def Jam. He stated that the process was just about completed, except for a few legalities, so it's somewhat of a surprise to hear that Big will be releasing his upcoming LP, Sir Luscious Leftfoot The Son of Chico Dusty, on Jive. They're aiming for a release date in February of 2010. "It's not even on Def Jam. I was in a little situation, the [journalist] jumped in the interview, we was in the midst of talks and then in the midst of that, some more things happened and we in a great situation right now. That'll be announced very soon. The album should be out I think -- in about 12 weeks maybe. So you know, it's coming real soon."
