Mogul Lands New Show 12:00PM ET December 8, 2009 Contributor : Hip Hop Blog Staff A Rocky Williform Company According to Variety, Russell Simmons has signed on with Oxygen Network to star in a reality show tentatively titled The Russell Simmons Project. The show will focus on the team of women who help Simmons run his empire. "Throughout my career I have surrounded myself with people smarter than me," Simmons said. "This show will let them shine and provide insight into how we build our empire." Oxygen added "Russell's assistants not only manage his business deals but also his family life, party planning and love life a commitment that is 24/7... Their glam jobs bring them face-to-face with everyone from former presidents and international royalty to Hollywood's elite." The show is being put together by Simmons Lathan Media Group and Picture This TV. There were no details given on when the show will air.
