Rapper Gives Up Cash 06:00PM ET December 8, 2009 Contributor : Hip Hop Blog Staff A Rocky Williform Company Busta Rhymes allegedly missed 10 hearings regarding an assault court case and as a result he will have to pay $75,000 to the victim. Because Busta missed the last court date earlier this month the judge automatically ruled in the plaintiffs favor. The rapper's lawyer argued that Bussa Bus wasn't properly notified of the court dates but the judge wasn't buying it. "It looks like we busted up Busta's rhyme," cracked lawyer Ron Hart, who represented the injured fan, Alex Duncan, a 32-year-old Albany resident. The judgment stems from a 2003 incident where Duncan claimed that Busta splashed him with water and threw two bottles at him following an argument between the two after a concert.
